Abhishek Bachchan is a well-known Indian actor and producer who mostly works in the Hindi cinema business. He is the son of the iconic actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. Bachchan made his cinematic debut with ‘Refugee’ in 2000. He received the Film Fare ‘Best Supporting Actor’ Award for his roles in films such ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ (2006), ‘Dostana’ (2008), ‘Paa’ (2009), and ‘Bol Bachchan’ (2012).
He was born in Mumbai to Indian actors Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan Moreover He is the brother of Shweta Bachchan-Nanda. After finishing his education at Jamnabai Narsee School and Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai, he proceeded to Switzerland to continue his degree. However, he interrupted his studies to seek a career in acting to help his father’s firm, ABCL, which was in financial crisis. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwary Rai announced their engagement on January 14, 2007, and were married on April 20, 2007. They married in accordance with South Indian Bunt Hindu traditions. The marriage was place in a private ceremony at the Bachchan house Prateeksha in Juhu, Mumbai.
